Review the job before it becomes progress
Children may genuinely believe a task is finished when part of it has been missed. A quick parent review helps avoid confusion and gives you a natural point to explain what still needs doing.
Once you are happy with the result, you can approve the chore and confirm any progress attached to it. Until then, it remains submitted rather than fully accepted.
Submitted chores remain pending.
Progress is confirmed only after the parent has reviewed and approved the work.
Quick questions
Why does Parent Quest use a Parent PIN?

Can children approve their own chores?

Does approval have to be complicated?
