Guardian keeps family location information inside a private, parent-managed account. There are no public profiles, followers, advertising feeds or social features, and adult location sharing remains optional.
Children should understand what is shared, which trusted adults can see it and why the family has chosen to use the app. Clear conversations and reviewed access are just as important as the technology itself.
Guardian is not an emergency service. Location and notifications can be affected by GPS, connectivity, permissions, battery settings and operating-system restrictions.
